Well we got Ethan's allergies tested this week and we are so happy those are done for a year!! I have so much to say about it but one thing that I want to say first is that I am so proud of my little Ethan!
The week started off with going to the allergist on Monday. Because he is so little I wasn't sure if they would do skin testing on him! But they did!! For those of you who don't know what that is, its basically where they take some pins that have potential allergens on them and prick you with them. They wait to see if the area that gets pricked gets a hive and that's how they know if you are allergic to it or not. They also did a test called RAST, not sure what it stands for but they drew Ethan's blood and tested it for several different things that he could be allergic too!!! Well the verdict is in!
Ethan has a severe allergy to Milk, Eggs, and Peanuts! The allergist said that until Ethan gets tested again in a year he can't have anything that has milk, eggs, or any nuts in it. On the good side he tested negative for being allergic to Soy or Wheat, so things could have been worse! The other good thing is that Ethan can now switch to a Soy formula which should make his face clear up 100%! So that is our bad/good news for the week. I have started to compile a list of all the things that Ethan will be able to eat, so that when it gets closer to being " real food time" we will be a little more aware!

I bet its such a relief to know what he is allergic to! What a trooper he is to deal with all those needles! Glad you were able to find out and that he's ok!
