Las Vegas Birthday Trip

VEGAS! About a month ago Hailey and I were driving and were saying how fun it would be just to drive down to Vegas, so thats exactly what we did. We decided to make it a little birthday get away for me last weekend Amanda, Hailey, Amelia, our really close friend Cathy, and I went to Las Vegas. We left on thursday night and left late Sunday night. It was such a well needed getaway and I think we all had a great time.

WE did LOTS AND LOTS of shopping, in fact we shopped all day ( at least 8 hours Friday and 5 hours Saturday) shopping! Mom, Cathy and Hailey went to a Planet Hollywood "90 min" presentation Saturday morning so we could get discount tickets to a show called "The V show" and dinner. The V show, which for all of you thinking like I did, stands for variety and it was a mixture of amazing different acts. Before we went to the show we went to one of the top 5 buffets in Vegas and ate our hearts out. Now as you'll see ahead in the pictures I am quite the sweets lover and pretty much ONLY ate from the dessert buffet. Thanks guys for the awesome Birthday Trip! Love you all!

These are all the desserts I tried there. Let me just name a few ice cream, 2 different cheesecakes, strawberry cake type thing, chocolate mouse, flan ( NASTY!!!) canolli and those are just to name a few!

Super Bowl!

Well Richard is a HUGE COLTS FAN!! So we went over to my parents and had a super bowl party. It was all VERY fun except for the fact that they lost ( sorry to anyone who is out of the loop and I just gave away old news )

As always we had amazing food! Our main courses were Hawaiian haystacks and Mexican haystacks and as you can see in the picture below, enough snacks to feed the whole Colts AND Saints football teams! Hailey, Me and Amelia all made shirts for the big game but somehow I didn't get a picture of Amelia's! Sorry!

And a quick update on our lives.... We are staying very busy with work and Ethan. I went to the doctor on Wednesday and got to hear our baby's heartbeat. I love going to the appointments for that one reason. Besides listening to the heartbeat I think they are just about pointless and I think any other pregnant woman would agree!

All our snacks. Fondue, chips, dips, candy, peanut butter bars ( which is a story in itselfs for later) veggies, fruit and MORE!
