Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays Everyone! Things have been so busy for us that I have not been posting as much but I thought I would do an update today while I was thinking about it!
Well to start off Richard got a promotion and we couldn't be happier. He is now a coach which is a manager position and he is loving it. He only has to be on the phones one hour a day and the rest of the day he is coaching his team how to better at collecting. Lots of people posted for the position and we are so proud that Richard got it. Our schedules have changed quite a bit though because he has to go into the center. So he is working from 6am - 2:30 am 5 days a week and I am working 3pm - 8pm 4 days a week. Lucky for me I am down to 20 hours and it has been so nice! Our laundry is actually getting done and our house is staying clean!
We also traded in my Malibu and got an '06 Nissan Altima. It has been such a nice change! It is parked in the garage or else I would post some pictures of it. We can't believe how much Ethan is learning everyday. He has started doing so many fun things and we love seeing him grow up. We love you all very much. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
PS Sorry about the pictures. My camera stinks! ( That's a hint for Richard on what I want for Christmas!! )

I love his little SMILE!

It looks like he might be scared of me

He always has his toes like this. It cracks me up!

YEAH!! He loves to clap when he does something good :)

Happy Halloween!

As I promised here are some pictures of our family! It has been forever since I have posted pictures of Ethan and he sure has grown up. He now has all of his teeth in and I cant tell you how happy I am to get past the "teething" stage. I wasn't sure that my patience could last much longer :)
So as most of you know Richard is a fanatic about Halloween. His favorite thing to do is scare the kids as they trick or treat! So this year we decided to have our own Halloween party and have a little haunted garage for the trick or treaters. We had all of my family over and also our next door neighbors to hang out for the night! Here are some fun new pics!

Ethan has gotten so independent. I tried to turn him around and he kept saying "no no no"

He is way into slurpees right now and its hilarious to watch him drink them!

Werewolf Dad and Mom the Witch on Halloween!

Coleman was Napoleon Dynamites Brother! Didn't he play the part well!

Ethan was a circus monkey and I was a fairy! My smile is a little TOO CHEESY THOUGH!

All the cousins together. Circus monkey Ethan, Cinderella Hannah, Derek the Gnome and Frankenstein Issac

My friend who lives next door was Cruella Devil! Ethan loved her hair!

This is inside our garage! If you cant tell that is Richard and he is under the black light. It was pretty scary

The outside view of the garage!

the whole family picture! I am going to point out a few people that I don't have individual pictures of!!! Hailey is the Geisha in the back and right next to her is grandpa and grandpa. Below them is Adrianne who was a pirate and Steve who was hmmmm.... Well as you can tell by the mullet and tattooed arms he was well a crazy rocker haha and then Amelia is next to Coleman and she was the cutest Ballerina!

UPDATE!!!

So pretty much it has been forever since I blogged last! It seems like time has just flown by and every time I have went to post s blog my camera wouldn't upload OR I couldn't find my camera at all (which by the way, is the case for today) So instead of waiting for pictures I thought I would just update on what has been going on.
The last time I posted I had started work and I am officially now out of training. It has been so much for fun for me to get out in the work force again. I had forgotten how much I enjoy the challenges that come along with work.
It has for sure been an adjustment for us all especially Ethan who is officially having his rain of terror over us. He has learned so much and is already 16 months. He walks around dancing, singing and pretty much trying to copy everything that we do. However if he doesn't get his way you better watch out. My poor family has witnessed one too many of these melt downs and at this point I am not even sure how to handle it :)
We have been recently teaching Ethan his body parts and when he says or points to one correctly we always clap and say "yeah!!!!". Well my favorite thing Ethan does now is say Ear and he will just keep saying it over and over and over until we clap and say "yeah!!" with him. It is so cute. We sure do love him and all the new things he does every day.
Richard i still enjoying his work and has been doing great at it. Its fun to work around people that know him and everyone always tells me how much they love him!
On the last bit of notes here
WE BOUGHT A CAR!!! YAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Its a 2006 Altima. The color is called Pewter but I just say goldish/silver. Richards favorite thing about it is its a 3.5 V6 with tiptronic ( which I guess means you can switch from manual to automatic???) Its exciting to have a fun new car! Well that's us for now. When I find the camera I will update the pictures!

New Job for ME!

Well a fun new update for us! I got a new job that I started on Monday! I am working for Discover Card and my official title is an Account Manager, but basically its just collections in the 30 day past due department. I am going to training right now and so far so good!

My training schedule is 6am-1:30pm Monday Thur Friday and after 4 weeks of training it will be 6am-12pm. It works out so awesome because while I work Richard watches Ethan and then when I get home we hang out for a bit and then Richard starts working. We are very fortunate that Richard works from home so that we are able to make this work. Plus it makes it so we actually get to see each other!!!!

I am looking forward to saving some money so by next summer we will have a new sodded yard, remodeled kitchen and bathrooms and a basketball court!
Since this post was about me I thought why not put a picture of me! This was on our honeymoon in Mexico!

Two Year Anniversary

Two years ago today we were married for time and all eternity. I love you Richard and am so grateful for these past years. I have learned that life has many ups and downs. Sometimes the downs are hard to get back up from but I am grateful I have you by my side to work through them. Happy Anniversary!
I couldn't find my cd with the un-copyrighted ones!!!

I love this picture of us!

Summer!

I love summer. It has been so fun lately to take Ethan outside and play. He has finally started walking but is so stubborn. ( I have NO CLUE where he gets that from) He knows its faster to crawl so if he wants to get somewhere fast he just falls down and crawls.

We have been able to do some really fun things this past month, starting with going to St. George with Richard's parents. Over the 24th of July weekend Richard took some time off and we headed up to stay at Richard's parents timeshare with them. It was such a nice place. With two bedrooms, two baths a full kitchen, dining and living room, we were all very comfortable. We started our time off down at the outlets and getting some lunch. However with it being 107 while we were there, the rest of the time we spent in the pool! Thanks Rob and Gloria for inviting us. We had a lot of fun and Ethan enjoyed getting to know you both better!

Last weekend Grandma Audrey, Grandpa Les, Mom, Dad, Hailey, Rob, Gloria ( Richards Parents) and Grandma Juns ( Richards Grandma) came up and went to the Tooele County Fair with us! We got some dinner and went over to the Rodeo. I haven't been to one in years and Ethan LOVED all the animals! We had so much fun and look forward to going to more rodeos!!

Ethan was hilarious on the drive there. We left at 9 pm and drove through the night and Ethan stayed awake for 4 of the 5 hours watching Backyardigans!

This is the view from the porch! We loved being so close to the pool.

All the food LEFT OVER when we were getting ready to leave! Rob and Gloria bought a ton of food for us to eat!

Ethan was obsessed with this window!

I stood outside and took pictures of him through it!

He finally got mad that I wouldn't let him out!

And of course it wouldn't be a trip without some hives!! I bought some sunscreen and tested it out on his arm. Apparently I didn't wait long enough because ten minutes later his whole body had hives!

Richard and Ethan in the pool. Richard thought it was funny that I made Ethan where a shirt in the pool, but I didn't want him to burn!

Richard and E Baby

Ethan and I got back from the pool and I got him all clean and ran to get a diaper. See if you can guess what the dark line in front of him is! That stinker Peed!

Dad and Hailey at the Rodeo

Grandma Page and Ethan

Ethan loved the fresh lemonade!

This picture cracks me up! You can see the HUGE height difference in Rob, Gloria and Grandma Juns

The cows! MOOOOOOOOO

4th of July Fun!

I love going to my grandma's for the fourth of July! We always have so much fun and this year was nothing but that! We started off by going over for a BBQ and then headed down to the Sandy Parade right by her house. It was a fun parade and all the kids loved getting the candy that was thrown.
Afterwards we headed back to Grandmas to let Ethan open some birthday presents and have his first cake! Since we didnt get to have a birthday party because he was sick this was his little birthday party! Hailey, Grandma and I had made his cake the day before and let me tell you it was an interesting cake to say the least! NO EGGS or MILK were involved in the process, but it tasted pretty good considering!
Later on we all went to Grandmas front yard and watched the fireworks. She lives within a block from where the Sandy City Fireworks go off so it was a perfect view! What a fun day! Thanks Grandma!
Cathy, Mom, Dad, Hannah, Steve and Ade at the parade!

Our Little Fam

This was the only picture of a float that I took. I loved this one!!

The cousins in their fourth of July outfits. Thanks Grandma Page and Grandpa Wes!

Issac thought he was the main attraction at the parade! It was hilarious!

Amelia and Ethan!

Just opening some gifts

Our camera is messed up! Ethan and I have crazy red eyes!

Ade and Mom

My cousin Rachel's girls, Tessa, Emory and Adrianne's Daughter Hannah! They had so much fun playing together.

The birthday cake we made!

This was his first attempt. He was just trying to figure it out!

If Daddy likes something then so does Ethan,

Hands messy???

After that he was ready to rock and roll. He dug right in!

He was having so much fun!

His favorite part of the cake was the licorice mouth.

This is how he asks for things now. He sticks his hand out and points to it!

The final masterpiece!!

Go Ethan! He was so proud of himself.

These were all the people at Grandmas house watching fireworks! There were a total of 28 adults and 6 kids and 2 babies! It was pretty crazy!
